Alibaba achieved record high sales of 213.5 billion yuan ($30.7 billion) during its annual shopping spree on Nov 11, which was also the 10th anniversary of its global shopping festival.
The 24-hour event, also known as Double 11 or Singles Day, falls on Nov 11 every year.
